Reading Activities for Beginning Literacy and Beginning English Language Learners

Location: In person at Literacy Minnesota, 700 Raymond Avenue, Suite 180, St. Paul, MN 55114. Masking is optional. Interested in an online version of this training? Register for the online session on November 14.

Description: Teaching and tutoring very beginning level ESL readers can be intimidating for volunteers and professional teachers alike. Attend this in-person workshop to get practical activities and ideas for one-on-one, remote and in-person instruction with tech and no-tech options. Leave feeling ready to provide your learners with meaningful and effective reading activities.

CEUs will be emailed to participants after the webinar, typically within 1-2 business days. Please note that if you miss more than 15 minutes of the session, we are unable to issue you CEUs or count your attendance towards a certificate.
