Personal Information TPR (Total Physical Response)

Purpose:

To practice quickly responding to personal information questions in writing; to review color, pen/pencil vocabulary.

Preparation time: 

None

Materials: 

A box of crayons, a pen, a pencil and a piece of paper for each student

Procedure:

1. Review colors and personal information with students.
2. Give each student a box of crayons, a pencil, a pen and a piece of paper.
3. Give commands such as, “Write your address with the blue crayon,” or “Write your name with the pen.”
4. Students hold up their papers as soon as they finish.
