Two New Northstar Digital Literacy Assessments Now Avaiilable

Northstar Digital Literacy, a program of Literacy Minnesota, offers assessments and support materials to teach and assess digital literacy skills. They are designed for adult learners reading at an intermediate-level and above. 

To meet the needs in our ever-increasing digital world, NSDL has just released two new assessments: Google Docs and Supporting K-12 Distace Learning.

Google Docs

Along with Microsoft Office, the Google suite of software products has become very common in work and school settings.  This assessment measures a test-takers ability to use the common features of Google Docs. (Google Sheets and Google Slides coming soon!)

Supporting K-12 Distace Learning

With the Covid-19 pandemic pushing k-12 learning on-line, the need for parents and caretakers to  navigate digital platforms has become very important. This assessment measures a test-taker's ability to use various software to complete some common tasks they might need to do to support their children's learning.
