News for You: A Free Teaching Resource for Black History Month
February is Black History Month! While many Adult Education teachers may want to incorporate black history into their curriculum, they may not know where to turn for texts and other teaching resources. The News for You website has several texts about black historical figures and events that include teacher’s guides, audio of the article and supplemental activities that are great for online classes or in-person class digital literacy tasks.
For a limited time, you can access a select list of Black History Month articles for free if you use the code BHM in the password box of the News for You website.
