Multiplicity Lab’s Image of the Week: A Mathematical Thinking Routine
Multiplicity Lab’s Image of the Week and accompanying activities help learners of all math levels practice mathematical thinking through the use of an interesting image. While the routines are designed for children, they can easily be adapted and are appropriate for adults. Here’s an example:
As shown in the image, questions to ask, grade level, big math ideas and ways to extend are provided. Additional explanations and support for educators are also provided on the main page of the activity.
