Literacy Minnesota 2025 Journeys Event and Live Student Readings

Join us on Thursday, April 17 at the Minnesota History Center for our annual celebration of adult literacy!

Literacy Minnesota's Journeys Event and Live Student Readings are held annually with the adult literacy community in Minnesota.

The event includes readings by adult literacy students who read their original stories and poems, many of which are featured in Journeys: An Anthology of Adult Student Writing.

When: 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025

Where: Minnesota History Center, 345 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102

Please note that Minnesota History Center exhibitions will be open for viewing the evening of the event.

A light reception will follow the readings.

Event schedule:

• 5 p.m. - Public Reading Workshop for student authors doing a live reading at the event
• 6 p.m. - Event Starts with a short program
• 7 p.m. - Student Readings
• 8 p.m. - Reception with food

As a guest, you are welcome to attend the entire event, or just the student readings and reception.
