Lesson Templates for Online Resources

The Northstar Digital Literacy team has created a set of lesson plan templates that can be used to guide tutors through 1-1 (or small group) lessons. Originally created to help tutors who are accessing the digital literacy resources curated by Northstar, the templates can be used with any print, video or activity-based materials. The templates can be used for in-person or virtual lessons. 

Each lesson plan has suggestions of activities do to before, during and after interacting with the material. There is special emphasis on ways to check learner comprehension. Suggestions, questions and activities can easily be adjusted to the language level of the student(s).
