Has finding time to make equity work a priority in your ABE organization been a challenge? Here’s a solution–The Moving Equity Forward in Adult Education Video Series with accompanying discussion guides created by ATLAS. These free, 10-minute videos are bite-sized and ready-to-go, making them perfect for infusing some energy into your program’s equity work.

The second video in the series is Discovering Learners’ Funds of Knowledge. It describes the importance of and methods for incorporating learners’ knowledge into classroom content to improve outcomes. Be sure to use the discussion guide to help staff process the video and apply it to their contexts.

We’ll share each of the videos and discussion guides on a monthly basis, reminding you to integrate this work into existing staff gatherings.
