Zainab Ahmadi

Zainab Ahmadi is Literacy Minnesota as the organization's Bilingual Family Navigator. In this role, Zainab’s responsibilities includes helping students and families access resources, assist with major life transitions and community support. Zainab has over 5 years’ experience in education, and worked as a Principal and an elementary teacher in Afghanistan. Zainab is passionate about fostering an environment that respects culturally responsive leadership and collaboration. Since moving to Minnesota, Zainab has been volunteering at the Open-Door St. Paul Campus as a teacher assistant and helping students one-to-one with navigation services. Zainab holds a BA in Educational Management and Leadership from the Shahid Rabbani University in Afghanistan and Diploma in English from the American University in Kabul, Afghanistan.
