Nicole Fuerstenberg

Nicole Fuerstenberg is currently the Strategic Execution Director for Human Resources at Thrivent. She has spent eighteen years in the financial service industry in a variety of leadership and internal consulting roles, with experience in strategic execution for company-wide initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and engagement. Nicole has an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, and a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College with dual majors in Psychology and Criminal Justice. 

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time outdoors, working out at the gym, reading, and enjoying quality time with family and friends. Her first connection to Literacy Minnesota was through an organized volunteer opportunity in a classroom. She is a life-long learner as the value of education was instilled at an early age through her parent’s encouragement to read, study, and learn new skills and hobbies. She believes that opportunities to learn should be accessible to everyone and through this, the world will be ever-changing for the better.
