Lloyd Brown

Lloyd Brown is the Site Manager for Open Door Minneapolis. He was coordinator at Open Door Learning Center-Northside starting on September, 2012. Prior to the coordinator position, Lloyd’s passion for education and adult literacy led him to volunteer opportunities which included a GED Internship at Open Door Learning Center-Northside, both ESL and GED tutoring at the Adult Options In Education program in St. Louis Park, and many volunteer leadership roles in K-12 public education. Lloyd has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which led to career positions in engineering, project management, and corporate management. Lloyd’s other passion is music, in which he enjoys writing, recording, and performing music around the Twin Cities.
