Lindsey Pust
Lindsey Pust joined Literacy Minnesota as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2010 and is now an ABE Instructor at Open Door Learning Center - Northside. Additionally, she is a state leader in CCRS math instruction: she has served on the Minnesota Numeracy Initiative Advisory Team for the last few years, has led CCRS math implementation professional development initiatives over the last two years, and has been the Numeracy Coordinator with ATLAS (ABE Teaching & Learning Advancement System) since 2019. In the past, Lindsey was a member of the 2014 statewide team that developed and delivered instructional training to GED teachers in Minnesota. She was also a member of the Minnesota Numeracy Initiative 2013 cohort. Lindsey has an undergraduate degree in Humanities from the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University. While in college, she worked with the Bonner Leader Program and the Service-Learning program, coordinating and facilitating relationships between faculty, students, and community partners. Outside of work, she is actively involved in her Christian faith and loves spending time with her husband. Recently, Lindsey’s passion for literacy has taken on a new dimension. The recent remote-learning environment has created space for thinking about instruction and learning in new and creative ways. It is incredibly rewarding for her to see learners rise to the challenge of online learning.
