Leah Hauge
Leah is the Northstar Digital Literacy Curriculum Manager at Literacy Minnesota, where she leads the development of digital literacy resources for learners and instructors worldwide. She joined Literacy Minnesota in 2008. Leah has experience teaching ESL to all levels and ages, from Kindergarten to adult learners. She also has experience in instructional design, volunteer coordination, team leadership, and project planning. Her experience as an AmeriCorps volunteer in a K-3 reading program sparked her initial interest in teaching and advocating for literacy. Leah has a B.A.in Anthropology and International Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Hamline University and a certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She holds a K-12 ESL teaching license. Outside of work, she enjoys reading aloud with her family, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and going on hikes in all seasons, particularly in the woods of Duluth, Minnesota.
