Katey Miller

Katey Miller joins Literacy Minnesota as Open Door Learning Center's new Digital Literacy Specialist. You can find her working at the Open Door Minneapolis campus facilitating computer labs and Northstar digital literacy classes. Katey is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Global Studies. While enrolled at the University, Katey served as Vice President of the Korean Student Association and completed an internship with the Advocates for Human Rights. Katey is very experienced with Minnesota’s Adult Basic Education system, having earned her Adult Diploma through the ABE program in Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan, and also serving there as a volunteer in classrooms and computers labs for four years. In her free time she loves exploring cafes around the metro, and testing out new bread and croissant recipes.
