Ebyan Abdulle
Ebyan came to Literacy Minnesota in 2006. She is currently Literacy Minnesota's Senior Manager, Family and Community Advocacy, and previously our Parent Mentoring Manager and College/Career Readiness Navigator. She spends her time in program management, working with parents and students to engage them in their education, and collaborating with organizations and social service agencies to help support student success. Ebyan is passionate about literacy, especially early literacy, and the critical role parents play their children’s education. Her interest in early learning and the importance of parental engagement began 12 years ago when she started working in the non-profit sector. Previously, she worked at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Ebyan earned her master’s degree in education from Saint Mary’s University and her bachelor’s degree in languages from Somali National University.
