Cydnee Sanders

Cydnee Sanders (she/her) is Literacy Minnesota’s Cultural Literacy and Belonging Training Specialist. She first joined the organization as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2017 and continued her work in various roles. In 2021, Cydnee completed her MA TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Hamline University where her capstone project was a professional development series on culturally responsive and sustaining teaching practices. After completing her MA TESOL, she worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Cape Town, South Africa. Cydnee is passionate about culture and storytelling, whether that is through her extensive traveling, working with people across different cultures or watching endless movies and television.
