Amy Goodman

Amy Goodman serves as Literacy Minnesota's Foundation Relations and Grants Manager, leveraging over three decades of nonprofit leadership experience, including roles as chief executive, founder and board member, most recently as the CEO of Washtenaw Literacy in SE Michigan. Amy's expertise led to her appointments on various local, state and national education initiatives, reflecting her commitment to equity and education. She holds degrees in Counseling Psychology and Women's/Gender Studies from the University of Minnesota, complemented by graduate studies in Education Administration and Management at the University of Washington. When not spending time with her family, Amy loves hiking and kayaking with her English Setter in Michigan's Upper Peninsula or getting lost in dusty old family records trying to break down genealogical brick walls.
